THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE

allisonweiss:

Ladies and gentlemen, approximately one hour ago I received an email from my musical HERO[INE]!!!!!!! Please excuse me while I have the best night ever.

“Allison

This is Tegan. I just received your package at my post office box. I am sure you did give me CD’s and I am sure they are sitting in the giant pile of records I collected over the past 2 months and have yet to get to. Thankfully I opened your package this evening just 23 minutes ago and have been listening to your CD since.

First off. You are really good. I love the songs. It could be that I feel emotional and rained in today or that you write incredibly poppy, hooky, thoughtful sweet songs.”

etc etc etc stuff relating to my letter

“Please keep writing music. Please feel free to email me back. This is my personal email so please don’t give it out or post it on line. I suppose if you did though I would still love your music. Ha. A little less but I’d love it nonetheless.

Take care,
Tegan”
